The monster effect of "Spellbook Magician of Prophecy" is an Ignition Effect.
It does not target.
When activating the effect, you must reveal 1 "Spellbook" Spell Card from your hand as a cost.
Even if the "Spellbook" Spell Card revealed as a cost is no longer in your hand when resolving the effect, the effect "Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand" is applied normally.
