Effect
Equip only to a Spellcaster monster that has a Level. It gains ATK equal to its Level x 100. If the equipped monster is destroyed by your opponent's card and sent to the GY, and this card is sent to your GY as a result: You can Special Summon that monster.
"Bound Wand" can be equipped to either a Spellcaster monster you control or a Spellcaster monster your opponent controls.
The effect "The equipped monster gains ATK equal to its Level x 100" is an effect that does not start a Chain Link.
The effect "②: If the equipped monster is destroyed by an opponent and this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can activate this effect; Special Summon that monster from the Graveyard to your field" is an effect that activates in the Graveyard and creates a Chain Link. (It does not target. It can also be activated during the Damage Step.)
The effect "Special Summon that monster from the Graveyard to your field" cannot be activated if "Bound Wand" and the equipped monster are destroyed simultaneously by a card effect.
