When activating this effect, you must discard this card from your hand as the cost.
When your monster battles an opponent's monster and your opponent activates a Normal Trap card (such as "Mirror Force") during the attack declaration, you can activate the effect of "Chow Chow Chan" by chaining it directly to that card.
