The effect of "Chronomaly Moai" is not classified as an Ignition Effect, Trigger Effect, Quick Effect, or Continuous Effect.
A Chain Link is not built when Special Summoning in this way.
When Special Summoning "Chronomaly Moai" with its own effect, you must have at least one face-up "Chronomaly" monster in your Monster Zone. (You can Special Summon a "Chronomaly Moai" from your hand even if another "Chronomaly Moai" is already present.)
If you have multiple "Chronomaly Moai" in your hand, you can Special Summon each of them during the same turn.
