Special Summoning this card with the effect of "Mask Change", or the effects of "Mask Change II" or "Form Change" (which perform a Special Summon treated as a Special Summon by "Mask Change"), is the proper way to Special Summon this card. In principle, it cannot be Special Summoned by other methods.

If an effect ignores the Summoning conditions, you can Special Summon this card while ignoring this text. However, if you are Special Summoning it from the Graveyard or while it is banished, this card must have been properly Special Summoned first and then left the field.

This is a Continuous Effect that is applied in the Monster Zone.

At the time of resolution, even if this card is no longer face-up in your Monster Zone, the effect "halve that monster's ATK" is still applied.

At the time of resolution, if the targeted monster is no longer face-up in the Monster Zone, no effect is applied.

If a monster to which this effect was applied is no longer face-up in the Monster Zone, the effect "halve that monster's ATK" ceases to be applied.

【Regarding the ② effect】

This is a Continuous Effect that is applied in the Monster Zone.

This effect is applied to the opponent player. (If the opponent attacks with their first monster while this effect is being applied, they cannot attack even with a monster that is unaffected by monster effects.)

Cards in the Pendulum Zone or Field Zone can also be targeted.

Even if this card is not face-up in the Monster Zone when resolving, the targeted card is returned to the hand.

This is a Trigger Effect that can be activated in the Monster Zone.

You can activate this effect at the end of the Damage Step, when this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard.
