The opponent decides whether or not to negate the monster effect of "Begone, Knave!" at the time the effect resolves.

If the opponent chooses to negate the monster effect of "Begone, Knave!", the opponent chooses 1 card from their own hand and gives it to the player who activated the effect of "Begone, Knave!".
