The monster effect of "Snow Dragon" is a Trigger Effect that activates in the Graveyard.
This effect does not target. When the monster effect of "Snow Dragon" resolves, 1 Ice Counter is placed on all face-up monsters in both players' Monster Zones.
This is a mandatory effect that activates if "Snow Dragon" itself is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to the Graveyard. (It also activates during the Damage Step.)
If "Snow Dragon" is destroyed by a card effect, you can activate its monster effect not only if it is destroyed on the field, but also if it is destroyed while in your hand or Deck.
