Target 1 face-up Attack Position Effect Monster on each side of the field; if both monsters are still face-up on the field, negate their effects, then if both their effects were negated by this effect, as long as those monsters are in face-up Attack Position, they cannot be destroyed by battle, are unaffected by other card effects, also they cannot attack or change their battle positions.
This effect targets 1 face-up Attack Position Effect Monster you control and 1 face-up Attack Position Effect Monster your opponent controls (2 monsters total).
If one of the two targeted monsters is no longer face-up on the field, the effect "As long as the targeted monsters are face-up on the field, they cannot be destroyed by battle, are unaffected by the effects of cards other than this card, and cannot attack or change their battle positions" stops being applied. However, the process of "negating the monsters' effects" continues to be applied as long as each monster remains face-up on the field.
The two monsters targeted by "Evenly Matched" can be Tributed or used as material for a Synchro or Xyz Summon.
